The Opening day parade was a great success, but the Opening day Little League games were muddied by a wet infield. Thankfully the infield was dry and ready for Baseball on Sunday. Lions club repeated their World Series success against Arlington Jewlers in a tight 7-6 win in the opening game. Game 2 saw a close contest through the first 4 innings, but Elks pulled away late in a 12-4 victory. The final game was a pitching duel between Plumbers - with Wilson Plumbing narrowly edging DeGrace Plumbing 4-2 to close the frosty season openers.
